Farmers' Market at Penn
The University Square Farmers' Market at Penn is located at 36th and Walnut Streets, and is open Wednesdays from 10am to 2pm.

Beechwood Orchards (www.beechwoodorchards.com/) has over 60 acres of fruit, as well as a few acres in vegetables and other crops, in Adams County. They practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM) which the National IPM Network defines as "a sustainable approach to managing pests by combining biological, cultural, physical and chemical tools in a way that minimizes economic, health, and environmental risks." Beechwood grows many varieties of tree fruits and berries -- peaches, plums, apples, strawberries, cherries, blueberries, and more.
John and Kira's (www.johnandkiras.com) features gourmet, artisan chocolate gifts and handmade confections for all occasions.
John King has a small vegetable farm in Lancaster County, and also helps other small Amish food businesses by distributing their baked goods and canned goods at the farmers' markets he attends in Philadelphia.
Metropolitan Bakery - Philadelphia’s 15-year old locally-owned artisan bakery sells freshly baked breads, bagels, cookies, granola and pastries as well as sandwiches and spreads. They also offer Fair Trade locally-roasted coffees and Numi organic teas.
